Q: When did you return to adult films? Why?

A: I returned to the adult film industry in March of 1999 after a 14-year break from the adult film industry. I signed a three-picture deal with VCA with an option for three more. The first film released, a comedy was entitled "Torn". I brought in two friends of mine who are writers for Sony Pictures to write the script with me. The second release called "White Lightning" is more of who dunnit with a twist similar to the mainstream film "Go". Third in the Ginger come back series is "New Wave Hookers 6". I’m in the original New wave Hookers, which was filmed way back in 1984 by the Dark Brothers.

I made my comeback into adult films for several reasons. 1) I hadn’t had good sex with a man in over 4 years. 2) I felt it was time to bring a little passion back to the industry. 3) VCA made me an offer I couldn’t refuse. 4) The catering has gotten so much better on porno sets. 5) I wanted to show younger adult film viewers what pubic hair and real breasts looked like.

Q: What’s the most current one in release?

A: My most current adult film release is "New Wave Hookers 6". I have just completed my final adult film, which is "Taken". It was directed by Veronica Hart and was shot on film.

Q: Are you working with any of the people you’ve worked with in the past?

A: To date the only person I’ve had the pleasure of having sex with that is from the "good old days" is Hershal Savage.

Q: Is there anyone in particular you would like to bring back to work with you again?

A: Not really. Part of the turn on for me is the newness of working with someone I’ve not yet had the pleasure to please or be pleased by.

Q: Is there anyone that you regret that you never had a chance to work with?

A: Taylor Hayes is one of the most beautiful and sexiest women I’ve ever seen, and though I have not been with her on film I have tasted her privately. One of the difficulties of the adult film industry today is that most of the performers whom I feel are exciting are under contract with one company or another, and it’s virtually impossible to be with them unless they are working for the same company as I am unless of course it’s in private.

Q: Out of the people you’ve been working with, anyone that stands out?

A: There are many wonderful performers in the adult film industry today. It’s difficult to say one or another was better or worse than the next. I choose only to work with people that turn me on, so anyone you see me with on film is someone that stood out in the first place.

Q: Is there anyone currently working that you would like a chance to work with?

A: There is no one that I can think of off the top of my head that I have not already been with that I would like to be with. Now that I’ve wrapped my final film with VCA I feel I need to go back to the lifestyle I’ve been living over the past 14 years of my retirement from the business, which is one of monogamy. I’m very old fashioned in certain respects, and today I want only to share my passions with the man that I love. That’s not to say I do not or did not enjoy my adult film career because I truly did, but its just time to move on to the next phase of my life. That of a mother, a friend, a daughter, a sister, a grand daughter and soon a wife.

Q: When does the film you just finished get released?

A: I believe VCA will be releasing the VHS version of "Taken" in the spring 2001. "White Lightning" is still to be released on DVD as is the DVD version of "new Wave Hookers 6", and six months after the VHS release of "Taken" the DVD will be released.

Q: Are you more recognized now because of your mainstream exposure? How is the general response when you are recognized?

A: I would have say that there are many people who know me only from my adult career, and the same would go for my mainstream work. There are those who only know me from say the "Wing Commander" series or from the first season on NYPD Blue or from the Metallicca video or possibly the "Vice Academy" Series. And of course there are those who have followed my career from the very beginning. Many of my fans are extremely loyal to me as I am to them.

There is no general response when I’m recognized because of the fact that my career has been so diversified. Fans of my adult work seem to be very appreciative. I’ve helped many a young man go through puberty. Those who know me only from my mainstream work seem to enjoy my talents just as much as those who know mw from my porno.

Q: Do you feel you were treated any differently when you began to get mainstream exposure?

A: Mainstream Hollywood is a whole other ball game. Occasionally I am treated differently because of my work as an adult actress, but for the most part I would have to say that I’m treated the same as any other actress. When I first began auditioning for mainstream work there was an element of curiosity that was definitely evident. Overall I have discovered that the people in porno are much more honest and more pleasurable to work with than those in mainstream Hollywood.

Q: What did you consider your biggest break in gaining the mainstream exposure?

A: I don’t know if I’ve had my big break in the mainstream film industry. I’ve been fortunate enough to work on two or three projects for year since I originally left the adult business, but I’m still not where I want to be in my mainstream acting career. NYPD Blue was a big boost for my mainstream career.

Q: do you think you may have lost or gained any roles because of your adult superstar status? If so which ones?

A: The closest I’ve ever come to my big break was when I auditioned for and was called back twice for the female lead in the film "Casino". I sat on pins and needles for over a month waiting for the director and producers to make their choice. Sharon Stone was finally chosen to play the lead, but I feel great about the fact that I came that close to leading a role.

I don’t know if I’ve ever been cast solely on the fact I’m known as an adult film star.

Q: How do you think your return to adult film films will affect your mainstream credibility? Is it easier to attain that credibility now that porn is more widely accepted?

A: In my opinion my return to adult films will not affect my mainstream credibility. Just because I have sex on film does not mean that I can or cannot act. I’ve found that it really doesn’t matter to those who play God in the mainstream film industry whether I made an adult film yesterday or a hundred years ago. Those who will not cast me because of my affiliation with the adult film industry don’t care when I last perform in an adult film. The same holds true for those who will cast me if I’m right for the role. As far as porn’s current credibility having an effect on my mainstream career, it definitely doesn’t hurt it.

Q: Is the book you’ve been working on out yet?

A: The book I’ve been working on over the last few years is in its final developmental stages. It’s the first book that I know of written by an adult film star that doesn’t trash the industry. The working title is "I did it, I liked it, So What!" I’m hoping for a 2001 release.

Q: Do you ever work the dance circuit anymore? Why/why not? If so when can we expected to see you in Phoenix?

A: After 12 years on tour dancing and living out of a suitcase, I’ve finally hung up my g-string as of July 2000. If I ever do decide to put on my 6-inch come fuck me shoes and entertain again Phoenix is on the top of my list of places to perform.

Q: I've noticed that your eyes change colors in your photographs. Is this natural, or are the photos re-touched?

A: "Good question. My eyes do change color depending on my mood and the color of what I am wearing. No you are not going crazy and no the photos are never re-touched."

Q: Do you have any magazines in which you appeared for sale?

A: I do not. I haven't posed for a men's magazine in 9 years now. Occasionally I do some press for current projects in which photos do appear so keep an eye out and I will let you know if something is coming up.

Q: Is it true that you have tattoos? And is so what and where are they?

A: Yes, it's true. I now have two tattoos. One is a heart with an arrow through it on my right ankle, and the other is a pair of red lips located on my bum.

Q: Many sources of information about you state that you love to buy shoes! Is this true? How many do you have? What kind do you like? Does Imelda Marcos know about this?

A: Yes it's true. I do love to buy shoes, although I don't buy as many as I used to. It was kind of a phase I was going through at the time. Now i'm into collecting antique pins. But, during this shoe phase of mine I racked up several hundred pairs in all colors and styles. Then I sold them to Imelda.

Q: What was your favorite roll to play and why?

A: I'd have to say it's a toss up between "Bound and Gagged, A Love Story" and N.Y.P.D. Blue". both rolls were challenging and they also allowed me the opportunity to play multi-dimentional characters.

Q. All the personal appearance items I have received from you have been scented with a lovely perfume. What is it called? And also how many members do you have in your fan club?

A: The perfume is made by Anne Klein. Glad you like it so do I! We now have a little over 4,000 members in the fan club and we are growing daily.

Q: I would like to know how you really feel about your Adult Film career. In "Ginger-Then And Now" you said "I love this business," yet on "Entertainment Tonight" you said "they gave me drugs to do things" and on "Hard Copy" you said you felt like they were using you. What's the real story?

A: All of the above! I did love the business. Certain people did give me drugs to help persuade me to do things I was uncomfortable with. And at times I did feel as though I was being used. Most things in life are neither completely black nor white. Sometimes you feel like a nut, sometimes you don't.

Q: 1) How old are you and when is your birthday? 2) Would you ever consider returning to adult films? 3) Will I ever get to meet you in person? 4) Do you ever reply with a personal letter instead of just a club letter? 5) Would you ever consider leaving LA if the right man comes along?

A: Most women choose to lie about their age once they hit 25. I am not most women. I'm 33 years old and getting better all the time and my birthday is December 14th. 2) No. I will never return to the adult film industry-I'm too old! 3) I hope to meet all of the fan club members. I will be on the road this fall. I will keep you up to date on my personal appearances on the website. So I hope to meet you soon. 4) Yes. I do reply with a personally written letter on occasion and I have been known to call members who give out their phone numbers when it strikes my fancy. All you have to do is spark my interest. 5) Yes! Yes! Yes!

Q: Why don't you sell Polaroids of yourself? "Nude" polaroids are probably out of the question, but I'll be happy with seeing you in a bikini or lingerie. Will you please consider it or don't I have a chance in hell?

A: Not only do you have a chance in hell, you will have your chance soon. Approximately 2 times per year I do offer Polaroid specials. You receive a Polaroid taken especially for you of me wearing only a sexy pair of panties and a smile... you get to keep the panties.

Q: Is there a way or a chance in heaven to have a date with you?

A: Once a year I have a Valentines date with Ginger contest. More information will be forth coming as the date approaches.

Q: I've heard you had a pretty hard time of it with the authorities a number of years ago. Rumors abound... could you set the story straight?

A: Approximately ten years ago a couple of nice people from the F.B.I. knocked on my door and politely asked me to testify on behalf of an actress who was allegedly underage, (let's call her "Tacky Fords") and against producers in the adult film industry. I refused. They said "if you don't testify we will make your life very difficult". I testified, but I had difficulty remembering anyone's name. OOPS! Shortly after that day the two nice people came back to my home and read me my rights, stating that I was under Federal investigation for tax evasion. Those charges were dropped and new ones took their place. Another nice man from the F.B.I. was then paid to watch my movies, look at my nude photos and who knows what else for five years to find out exactly what I may have been done wrong (shoe color is very important you know). Anyway a trial took place. I was facing 6 years in prison for " willfully subscribing to file a false tax return" in the amount of $2,078.00 (two thousand and seventy eight, that's right) I lost, not only the case, but my home as well and 4 1/2 months of my life that were spent in prison. I was given 3 years probation and those three years ended on September 22nd 1994. End of story.

Q: I've watched every film you've ever made and I think you are by far the best adult film star there ever was. You look like you really enjoy what you do. Are your orgasms real? Do you prefer men or women more? Who is your favorite male co-star? Who is your favorite female co-star? What is your favorite position? Do you enjoy anal sex? Who is the father of your son?

A: Whew that was a lot of questions! but here goes... Yes! My orgasms are real. Do you really think I would have made 69 films if I wasn't having such a good time? I would have to say I prefer men over women. Although I definitely enjoy women, they are missing one very important piece of equipment that I find quite enjoyable and unable to without for any length of time. I have two favorite on screen male co-stars; Tom Byron and Peter North. My favorite female co-stars are Barbara Dare and Christy Canyon (I was the first woman she ever had sex with) My favorite position is shortstop, but I must admit I don't watch game very often as I prefer sports I am involved in personally. You ask if I enjoy anal sex... watch my movies and let me know what you think. I'm not sure who the father of my child will be as I haven't yet met Mr. Right.

Q: In your flyer for the "Serenity" photo (a picture of me taken days before Sterling was born) you refer to Sterling as "My first and only son" instead of" my first born son. Is there something you are not telling us or am I reading too much into this? Are you really all right or is something wrong. Please let me know, because I really do care about what happens to you!

A: I'm just fine. I hope to have at least four more children and there doesn't seem to be any apparent reason why I can't except for the need of a good man. I wouldn't hide anything from you except for maybe my high school graduation photo. Thank you for caring. It means a lot to me.
